My dinner with Briggy
- winter 2004 edition.
It was Friday night, and Miss B. and I had made plans to get all gussied up and hit the clubs (we don't do that very often, but I think the prolonged winter was making us a li'l starved for wearing something other than arctic temperature-safe clothing); however, it was bitterly cold and despite our desire to be shmancy, common sense and lethargy prevailed and we headed to Not Your Average Joe's in Watertown Square - a comfy, warm place with better than average food. While waiting for a table, we ran into Tammy B., Swooze, Jules and a couple of their friends. (Turns out that the next night I had dinner with Tammy and Swooze. Alas, no pics from that night.) Anyhoo, I'd brought my camera in with me, rather than leave it in the car in single digit temps, and while waiting for dessert, snapped a few pics. Taking pics of Briggy is always fun cuz she has such a pretty and expressive face. Unfortunately, since it was a dimly lit place and I didn't want to have the flash going off all the time, a lot of the pics were very dark or blurry. No real surprise there. But a few turned out. Others lent themselves to being manipulated with Photoshop®...or at least I *attempted* to make them artistic. So, please forgive the self indulgence and enjoy. Or skip them all. But if you do, you'll miss dessert. 1/23/04 |
