Visiting the Folks in Tucson
I was fortunate to find an open weekend with no hockey games to play, and no work travel to be done, so that I could zip down to Tucson to visit the folks. Mom's birthday is next weekend, so we'll celebrate early while I'm here. Other highlights of the trip include having Joe & Jane, my folks' neighbors, and Jane's sister, Judy, over for wine. Also on tap was another birthday celebration, this one for Dave, my Dad's oldest friend. They met in seventh grade back in Jackson, Michigan in the late 1930's. Nice that they still keep in touch and live only a few miles apart here in Tucson.
